I am Dr. Mary Jane Evangelista, a distinguished healthcare professional with a strong educational and professional background. My academic journey began at Centro Escolar University, where I earned my degree in Medical Technology in 2001. Fueled by my passion for nursing, I pursued further education at De Ocampo Memorial College, obtaining my degree in Nursing. My commitment to excellence led me to pursue a Master of Arts in Nursing at the Philippine College of Health and Science.
My career as a nurse educator started in Manila, where I taught at various colleges and universities, imparting knowledge and skills to the next generation of nurses. In 2007, I relocated to the United States and continued my vocation at Triton College in River Grove, Illinois, as a nurse educator and evaluator. There, I furthered my expertise by earning a certificate from the Illinois State Board of Educators, enabling me to train and educate nurse assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Registered Nurses (RNs). I also serve as a professor at Seattle Pacific University’s graduate school (Family Nurse Practitioner and Doctor of Nursing Practice) and previously held the role of Dean/Director of the Nursing program at ATS Institute in downtown Chicago.
With over 18 years of experience as a nursing review instructor in the United States, I have made significant contributions to nursing education, consistently demonstrating my dedication to fostering competent and compassionate healthcare professionals.
